BARLICO MAKES A CHANGE IN OPM THROUGH ITS ONLINE JINGLE COVER CONTEST

Barlco is soaring into new heights and is definitely Making A Change in the OPM scene with the Barlico “Make A Change” Online Jingle Cover Contest.

The contest is open to all amateur and  professional singers, songwriters, musicians, music enthusiasts aged 16 to 60 who would like to be instrumental in “Making a Change” in the Philippine Music Scene.  Joining is as easy as 1, 2 3!  All they have to do is  1) LIKE THE BARLICO  PAGE    2)  WATCH THE LYRIC VIDEO and 3)  CREATE YOUR VERY OWN AND VERY BEST VERSION OF THE VIDEO AND SEND  YOUR INFORMATION & ENTRY.     

Last day of submission of entries has been extended upto July 2, 2018, 11pm.

Minimum length of video  should be 30-Seconds to  a full – length song that is about 3-4MINUTES.  The video to be submitted must be in a popularly supported video format (.mpg, .avi, .wmv, .mov) and should have, as part of the whole layout the Barlico logo or an actual Barlico product of any variant.   The video should be in High Resolution and should not have been made to promote other brands or entities.   The video material should not show or include any frontal nudity, violence or foul language.  

Only five (5) finalists will be chosen for the Grand Finals targeted on July 12, Thursday, 6:00pm, at Upperhouse, at the Brewery, the Fort, BGC, Taguig City.    Before the actual competition, the videos of these five (5) chosen finalists will be shared online, the SHARING component or number of shares will be added to their scores.  For the actual event,  the 5 finalists will be requested to sing the cover of the Barlico jingle and 4 other songs (1)  cover song with any kind of “change component”; (1) original song, if applicable, or you can just sing (3) cover songs with your own arrangement. Best that it’s not straight cover. They may sing together with a session band or solo.

The five (5) finalists will be judged based on the following criteria:   CREATIVITY OF PRODUCT PRESENTATION 30%,  STYLE / PERSONALIZATION / IMPROV  35%,  VISUAL IMPACT + ONLINE SHARES 25% and STAGE PRESENCE &  AUDIENCE  IMPACT  10%.  Our line up of Judges include Zach Lucero from Imago, John Hendrix, Joniver Robles from the Voice,  Champ Lui Pio from Hale and May Manuel from Barlico Marketing.

The 1st Place Winer will bring home PHP30,000 CASH + Barlico Products  +Trophy,   the 2nd Place  PHP20,000 CASH +  Barlico Products  +Trophy and the 3rd Place  PHP10,000 CASH + Barlico Products  +Trophy.  Non-winners will receive      Barlico  products and certificates.
